Albany is a stunning place and a photographers dream. Stretching from West Cape Howe National Park in the West through the City of Albany and beyond to the East the Albany Region is a wonderful place to explore and photograph. We will claim Denmark through to Bremer Bay as in our region.

Heard of Albany WA?

If you haven’t, you are going to be in for a major surprise as we point out some of the major attractions that you can expect to enjoy in Albany.

Number One

3 words starting with ‘S’ – Sun, Sand and Surf. Albany is located on the beautiful southern coastline of Western Australia. If you ever wanted a holiday by the beach, Albany is the perfect destination. Middleton Beach provides the perfect backdrop for a family day as the calm waters can be enjoyed by everyone. Or visit the ‘Cleanest Beach in 2011’ which was awarded to ‘Emu Point’. So if fishing, swimming or surfing is on the agenda, Albany will have a beach nearby to suit you.

Number Two

With the abundant coastline at your fingertips, you can have a ‘Whale’ of a time. Literally! Albany is popular for whale watching enthusiasts and those that are just curious. During the cooler winter months May to October, you can sign up to take part in a Whale Watching Tour. You are sure to get up close and personal with one of nature’s most beautiful creatures, and have an unbelievable experience that will blow your mind and leave you with amazing memories.

Number Three

Why not get back to nature. In most places, this would mean hiking or camping or something similar. In Albany, this simply means getting to one of the city’s markets to purchase some local fresh produce. Straight from the farmer to your shopping bag. Albany hosts a market on Saturday – The Farmers Market, and Sunday – The Boatshed Markets. You can relax and visit both in the one weekend. Fresh produce will never mean the same to you.
