Originally from
England (some 36 years ago), MARGARET has resided in Perth,
Melbourne and Adelaide as well as having travelled extensively.
Following a successful career as a Shopping Centre Manager in Perth,
Margaret married Lew in 1998, and a year later retired and left the
city to live on his farm in the wheatbelt in the township of
Harrismith. She took up painting fulltime, exhibiting paintings at
several galleries and exhibitions with her first solo exhibition at
Houghton Winery in the Swan Valley (Perth) in 2001.
The front reception area at Albany View Street Lodge has recently
been extended to form a studio/gallery thus making it a pleasant
area for guests to browse.
